Portland International Guesthouse
2185 NW Flanders Street
Portland, OR 97210
Our Guesthouse is located in the heart of Portland's historic Alphabet District also known as Nob Hill. Our neighborhood is the city's most charming and vibrant. We are within walking distance or a short transit ride to downtown, the Pearl District, Powell's Books and most of Portland's major cultural institutions.
One can enjoyably meander through our neighborhood streets lined with beautiful, Victorian homes. NW 23rd and 21st Avenues are filled with many boutique shops and great restaurants. Enjoy a walk up to Washington Park and visit the amazing Japanese and The Portland International Test Rose Gardens. From there, it is possible to access over 40 miles of hiking trails.
We are an easy 5 to 7-minute walk to some of Portland's best restaurants and only 1/2 block to Trader Joes’ grocery.
We are 5 blocks to the Portland Streetcar, 6 blocks to the Trimet Max Train at Providence Park (home of the Portland Timbers) with direct access to Portland International Airport, and 1 block to several major bus lines. In addition, we are a 7-minute bus ride to Union Station (Amtrak) and the Greyhound station (located next to Union Station).
All street parking in our neighborhood is metered running from 9am to 7pm, Monday - Saturday.
We have a limited number of street parking permits allowing guests to park on the street without paying at the meter or moving car - the exception is on NW 21st and NW 23rd avenues where parking permits are not allowed. If you plan to drive and park on the street - you must reserve a street parking permit prior to arrival via phone or email. These permits are $5 per night. A $100 fee will be charged if not returned.
We offer one, private off-street parking space in our driveway for $12 per night. Guests interested in this space must reserve it prior to arrival via phone or email.
